A gay onsen · men onlySilom · Bangkok
Thailand's flagship
gay onsen.
Three Japanese mineral baths. A pine sauna, bergamot steam, and 500 kg of Himalayan salt. A full Japanese meal with every entry. For men who love men — since 2024, the standard.
The ritual · 湯
Three baths. One ancient sequence.
Hot, cold, rest — repeated three times. The Japanese have refined this for a thousand years; we imported the water itself. Our hot bath is dosed with mineral powder from Kusatsu, Japan's most famous onsen town.
41°C
The Hot Bath
Kusatsu minerals · citrus oil. Sink in, breathe out.
38°C
The Warm Bath
Epsom salts, body-temperature ease, hour-long soaks.
19°C
The Cold Plunge
The gasp. The grin. The glow. Three rounds minimum.

The bath hall
Granite pools under a cinema of moving mountains.

A gay onsen.
Unmistakably.
Maxwell is not a family onsen with a men's hour. It is a bathhouse built by gay men, for gay men — every guest male, the atmosphere warm, social and free. If you're looking for a mixed spa day, Yunomori is lovely. If you're looking for us, welcome home.

What the room says
"Clean, beautiful, and the free meal is genuinely good. The standard every gay bathhouse should be judged against."

Maxwell is the calm. Wellmax is the storm.
Our sister venue Wellmax is the world's first gay saunatainment, on the same road — immersive art rooms, ice baths, a live game, and the same obsession with doing it better than anyone. Many men do both in one night. Start with the water.
